On vines

There is a vine coming through the window. It has snaked through the tiny opening in the middle where the top of the bottom half is raised above the bottom of the top half because we have a box A/C unit in the window. It has climbed up and over the top of the white curtain. It looked almost natural inside. I stared at it for a long minute trying to figure out what the problem was. 

I went and grabbed a pair of scissors and snipped off the end but didn’t really fix the problem. I didn’t really mind the problem. Had anyone else noticed?
